The Awakening

I went to see a movie named The Awakening  at Cathay Cineplex e@curve last night.

The movie tell about a woman bent on exposing all séances and ghost stories as exploitative shams following the death of her husband. However, when she’s called to investigate a disturbance at an all boys school, she’s forced to rethink her conceit.

Set in an England still reeling from the huge, tragic losses of World War I, The Awakening sees Rebecca Hall as Florence Cathcart, a no-nonsense, scientifically minded young woman who believes staunchly in the truth and sets out to investigate claims of the supernatural with the intention of giving them a right old debunking.

So when she’s contacted by Robert Mallory (Dominic West) and invited to stay at the boys’ boarding school where he’s the headmaster, she’s naturally ready to pour cold water on the students’ claims that spectral children have been spotted around the building. But guess what? Turns out there could be something very real haunting the place…

Apparently, this is a horror movie!!!

Well, this was my first time to see the previewing movie(the actual showing day in cinemas  is today)hehe….

Well, for me to do the rating of the movie, it would be 3!!

Furthermore, the tickets were free!!! It’s a prize from him, yeah yeah…=)

The place of party was too crowded, a lot of peoples were surrounded the stage and dance like crazy, haha.....

Time flies….today is  the last day of 2011….

Do you have anything not yet done in 2011???

Well..it was such a huge changed of  my life in this year…

I transferred here (KL) from JB one year ago, this is the first year I’m working in KL..and today is my 1^st anniversary of working  and staying here , hahaha…
Speaking of 1^st  anniversary, I also have to  congratulate him and myself for  being together one year, hehe….errrr…was that consider a huge change of my life??? hmm....whatever….

New challenge….new life…….

I always wanted to live and work in KL , because I  thought  that KL is my world, my life, my dreams....anything!!! I’d ever lived in 3 of the big city of our country before, which were KL, Penang and JB. However, KL is still my favorite place to stay!

My life was changing since the 1^st day I’d  started my new life in KL!

New workplace, new colleagues, new working time, new lifestyle, new home, new hobby (be a part time blogger now, hehe) and definitely, a new me..=)

It was quite a big challenge for me in the new working place! A lot of hard work that I’ve never do before and it was such a pressure for me to do it!

tried ~ tried ~ tried ~

Besides that, I’d tried to apply different kind of job  which I’d interested in. But I found that, the benefit of those jobs were not as good as my current job, even I’m not really like my job, haha…..well, maybe I’d wasted my time, but I’d gained experience from there, it’s a good thing, hehe....;)

Things that really made my life different and colourful ….

I got a few chances of casting for tv commercial and programme, although I didn’t make it! But it was such a special and great experience for me! What I really upset was, some of the casting were on the working day, I can’t even attend and I eventually miss it…..sigh……poor me…..T.T…..:(

However, I got an opportunity to be one of the model of MHA hair show at Shangri-la Hotel.

Although this was not my first time to catwalk on the runway, but  I really appreciate it!

And this was the biggest show that I’d ever joined =)

There was another surprise from Citta Bella magazine last week. I was selected to join their make over section…as I mentioned before, my picture will be publish on the issue February 2012 of Citta Bella!!! Omg, I  have to wait one more month…..

To all lovely peoples who love me, take care of me, and lent me a hand when I was in trouble, love you all..muacksssss...=)

Goodbye 2011…..

The Make Over Shoot

Solstice Festival is a big day  for Chinese, it is more important than Chinese New Year, can say so...hehe..
However, this was my first time didn't celebrate the Solstice Festival with my family!
Well, I'd did something special for myself on this big day, something different.. and something really interesting ~~~ the make over shooting of Citta Bella magazine, haha!!!
I was so excited yet nervous, this was my first time of magazine shoot, although it was just a reader's make over photo shoot..^^
It was such a great chance for me to experience the professional magazine shoot!

10am...
I reached the Show Up Studio at Kota Damansara.
The beautiful and friendly Citta Bella beauty writer Stephanie Oh, M.A.C professional makeup artist Steve, and photographers were there already......
I was so excited that the makeup artist was from M.A.C, because it was one of my favorite cosmetic brand!
5 minutes later, Mavis Ang, the hairstylist of Shawn Cutler salon reached the studio and got my hair done!
I had changed my outfit to the little black dress that I brought after I done makeup and hairdo.

ta ~ da ~ da ~ it's time to shoot ~~~~
The hairstylist and makeup artist kept touch up my makeup and hairstyle while shooting..wow ~ this made me felt like, I'm a supermodel or celebrity, hehe....
It was really fun, but just once.....perhaps.....

The beauty writer, Stephanie Oh interviewed me, she just asked a few questions about the make over.
Well, it was such an unforgetable experience and I really really appreciate it!

MaKe OvEr

I can't explain how lucky and happy am I when I received a call from beauty writer of Citta Bella magazine ~~ Stephanie.
I'd selected for the make over section of Citta Bella magazine.
It was such a great great opportunity, thanks Citta Bella!!!

And the happiest thing was...everything was FOC, hehe....It helps me to save a lot of money, haha.....
I do not need to spend any money on my hair for the upcoming Chinese New Year, yeah yeah..;)
The hairdo of make over section was sponsor by Shawn Cutler salon at bangsar.
So, a day before the make over shooting, I went to the salon and got my hair done.

My hair was around 3 inches shorter, less layer now and my hair colour also turn to a shade darker^^
Hmm...I like the new haircut and colour, thanks to the expert hair stylist Mavis Ang from Shawn Cutler, Bangsar for made me a nice and fresh look.

Hehe ~~ I love the 'new me' now...muacksssssssss!!!!!!!!!



Coco Lounge

My dear sister Joey came visit me last Friday, oh no, she actually came for shopping ..haha...

It was a  2 days shopping trip, I brought her  to a few shopping hot spot in KL, such as Midvalley, The Garden, The Curve, Sungei Wang and my favorite spot..Pavilion^^

 One of the ‘must- go’ place was … Theobroma Chocolate Lounge! We have been talking about this almost a year, and we eventually reached our  ‘dream’, haha….
